What’s better than coming back from a trip and having cash waiting for you? Not much!
Rakuten helps the best of the budget travelers save money on hotels, flights, excursions, and travel sites. I’ve used Rakuten for several years now, and I really love being able to get points on apps, such as Expedia, and also get a percentage of the cost back – I’m basically being rewarded twice!
Some of my favorite sites to use Rakuten rebate are Hotels.com, Agoda, CheapOAir, Ebags, Hilton, Hotwire, and Marriott. Of course, you can use Rakuten for a million other reasons aside from traveling/hospitality. Online shopping is becoming more and more the primary way for us to get clothes, accessories, and home decor. Rakuten has tons of online retail shops you’re able to access. This means you’re also able to get cash back on swimsuits, cute clothes, and so much more.
Once you’re signed up (and you get $10 back just for signing up) you can search whichever store you’d like to shop, click on the link that takes you to the site. From there, Rakuten will create a “Shopping Trip” and if anything is purchased, you’ll get a percentage of your total back!
The payouts for this rebate site are quarterly, so four times a year. The rebates pile up and you get a “Big Fat Check” each quarter! You can request your payments through Paypal, paper check, or American Express Rewards Points.
If you’ve tried Rakuten, let me know. Also feel free to share your favorite shops, I’m always looking for a new place to spend my money!
